The club manages the fishing rights at Riverside Park on behalf of the Town Council.
Our membership runs 15th of June to the 16th of June each year we welcome new and returning members of all ages.
We have no close season ( see rules on pike fishing )
All Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult for safe guarding as it’s a public space !

Brief description of fishery:
THE WHARF RIVERSIDE PARK LAKE IS SITUATED AT THE END OF WHARF ROAD IN HIGHAM FERRERS AND IS AROUND 12.8 ACRES IN SIZE WITH A OLD BACK RIVER WATER THAT IS CONNECTED TO TWO CULVERTS UNDER THE A45 TO THE RIVER NENE.
THE CHANCE OF OLD RIVER CARP STILL UNKNOWN COMING INTO THE LAKE AND KEEPS THE MYSTERY A SUPRISE FOR THE CARP ANGLER, RECORD IS A OUNCE UNDER 30LB WE ALSO HAVE TENCH TO 7LB PLUS BREAM OF ALL SIZES OF PERCH CRUCIANS EELS CHUB BECAUSE IT’S CONNECTED TO THE RIVER IT KEEPS ON GIVING A SUPRISE NOW AND THEN AND WE HAVE NO CLOSE SEASON ( PIKE SEASON APPLYS ) KEEP THAT FEEDER ROD OUT FOR SOME LOVERLY SILVER FISH SO ALL TYPES OF ANGLING APPLY!

Membership
The Annual Subscription will be due on the 15th JUNE of each year and last for one calendar year, or in the event of a member joining part way through the year, the remainder of the calendar year. Members will not be able to fish until they have renewed their membership.
Junior members are those who hold a junior E.A rod licence on the date of application
The joining fee is a one off payment as long as the membership is renewed at the appropriate time.
Payment – We accept payment by Clubmate app card payment or cash when visiting the club.
To join or renew online, click on the relevant clubmate app add our club water and complete your details.
For new members, and old members using the app please ensure you upload a photograph and vehicle reg, phone number address and e-mail .
All rules etc will be on the app.

- Full member: Those aged 18 to 64 on JUNE 16TH TO JUNE 15TH ANNUALLY DUSK TILL DAWN ONLY
- Full member: Those aged 18 to 64 on JUNE 16TH TO JUNE 15TH ANNUALLY 24 HR FISHING LTD NUMBERS
- Disabled member: Those in possession of a concessionary disabled rod licence issued by the Environment Agency.
- Spouse member: The wife or partner of a Full, Senior Citizen or Disabled member.
- Young member: Those aged 14 to 17 on 1st January.
- Junior member: Young persons up to the age of 13 on 1st January.
